Pilot Relations Information
Pilots are provided the following:
-
4 scheduled mass launches and 1 glow
(Friday PM – Sunday AM) - Paid passenger rides (based on availability)
- Propane for all flights
- Pilot Pack
- A bottle of wine for each flight for the landowner
- Pre-launch meals for pilots & crew (PM launches only)
- Pilot and crew brunch (Sunday AM post flight)
- Great family atmosphere with many other great pilots and crew

The Great Wellsville Balloon Rally committee is committed to making this a Rally that balloonists look forward to coming back each year. Pilot Registration
Registration
All pilots will be required to pay the $25 entry fee upon pilot check-in. If a pilot does not pay the registration fee, he/she may not fly in the event.
Pilots must have 10 hours of flight time in the preceding 12 months in order to register.
2nd Class Medicals will be required for all commercial operations per 14 CFR 61.23.
Logbooks and documents will be reviewed as part of registration by both the pilot relations/safety officer and FAA representatives. This is required by FSIMS ORDER N8900.488.
